[Lung Cancer Surgery]

The fellows will be able to observe or participate in :

1. Pneumonectomy
2. Bilobectomy
3. Sleeve lobectomy
4. Lobectomy
5. Segmentectomy
6. Wedge resection
7. Mediastianl lymph node dissection

[Esophageal Cancer Surgery]

The fellows will be able to observe or participate in :

1. Robot assisted thoracoscopic esophagectomy and lymph node dissection
2. Video assisted thoracoscopic esophagectomy and lymph node dissection
3. Esopahgeal reconstruction

[Lung Transplantation]

The fellows will be able to observe or participate in :

1. Bilateral lung transplantation
2. Single lung transplantation
3. Heart-lung transplantation

[Mediastinal Mass & Thymoma Surgery]

The fellows will be able to observe or participate in :

1. Thymectomy
2. Mediastinal mass excision
3. Robot assisted thoracoscopic thymectomy 
4. Single port robot assisted thoracoscopic thymectomy

You will have opportunities to get involved in research activities. We have tremendous resources, including extensive procedural databases, statistics, and access to the medical library and e-journals.

With guidance of your faculty mentor, you will pursue short or long-term projects and submit abstract to domestic or international meetings. You will also be able to publish highly recognized surgical journals with the cooperation with faculties, Korean and international fellows.

Trainees will be able to participate in :
 

1. Annual fall meeting of The Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (November, 3 days)
 

2. Postgraduate course and annual spring meeting of The Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (June, 2 days)

Hands-on Practice is allowed ONLY after the permission of Korea MOHW.
