In 2019, Division of Colorectal Surgery has undergone more than 1200 cases of colorectal surgeries for malignant diseases, with more than 82% of Minimal Invasive Surgery. We also operate more than 900 cases of laparoscopic surgeries and more than 100 cases of robotic surgeries for colorectal cancer. We perform various surgeries for colorectal disease including benign protologic disease. We annually perform about 100 operation for IBD. We also perform inguinal hernioplasty by using SILS single port, which is called SILTEP (Single incision laparoscopic TEP).
From 2014, we started HIPEC with cytoreductive surgery for metastatic, far advanced colorectal cancer patients.

The division faculty is comprised of 7 professors, 3 international fellows and 5 physician assistants. Also there are a total of 46 residents in the entire department of surgery.
