Yonsei University Health System is participating in various global engagement activities to realize its mission as a medical mission institution. As a part of it, Yonsei Institute for Global Health is conducting the F/S project to establish a medical center and medical education institution within Korea Export Processing Zone(KEPZ), located in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. This project aims to provide medical service and education within Bangladesh. Furthermore, the project’s goal is to provide high-quality medical service in the southeastern part of Bangladesh, to maintain its competency as a vital hospital within the province, and to function as a teaching hospital by establishing affiliated medical and nursing college.

Yonsei Institute for Global Health set up a TFT and held the 1^st Briefing Session of Youngone Corporation Bangladesh KEPZ Medical Cluster F/S Project at the Myeongdong Office of Youngone Corporation at June 30, 2022. In August, the TFT will visit Bangladesh to meet the government personnel in charge, and to visit the university and hospital located at the region.
