Center for Global Development at Yonsei University contributes to the international community through transferring the acquired knowledge to Global Development Projects.

The Center for Global Development is about to move on to the stage of implementing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) both at national and international level.

Through this process, we look forward to making further contribution realizing the value of Yonsei for the bright future of all mankind.

Mission

In pursuit of the social mission of Yonsei University Health System, the center is dedicated to enhancing global health equity and achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through international collaboration.

1. MIRACLE Project

    ·  Mongolia Infectious Disease Response and Cooperation for Antimicrobial Resistance and Laboratory Empowerment Project

    ·  Strengthening Mongolia's capacity for infectious disease surveillance and recovery

2. Project for Improving Motorcycle Driver’s Vision Screening Policy to Enhance Road Safety in Vietnam 

    · Reduction of traffic accident rates among motorcycle drivers in their 20s in Vietnam through myopia correction
    · Enhancement of traffic safety policy maturity in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

3. CNROM

    ·  The Project of Construction and Equipment of the National Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology Center

    ·  Contributing to the establishment of Côte d'Ivoire’s mid-to-long-term healthcare system by preventing and managing major cancers through the establishment of the National Cancer Center (CNROM).
