Gangnam Severance Hospital Orthopedic Surgery has played a leading role in the development of orthopedic surgery in Korea, and among them, the spine surgery division is one of the largest divisions within orthopedic surgery, with a total of three professors performing treatment, surgery, and clinical research. Each professor is a leading opinion leader who is actively involved in various spinal surgery sub-division societies, such as cervical spine surgery/thoraco-lumbar spine surgery/deformity correction/spinal tumor/minimally invasive spine surgery and biportal endoscopic spine surgery (MISS & BESS). At our hospital, you can experience various spine surgeries with the professors. Therefore, even now, many domestic orthopedic specialists who dream of becoming experts in the field of spine are also taking a fellowship course in this department every year to learn about various spine surgery cases, clinical research, and clinical experience.
