Clinical Procedures
The fellows will be able to observe :
- Aortic root surgery
- Open aortic repair (Thoracic and abdomen)
- Endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR, EVAR, Etc.)
- Vascular surgery and intervention for PAOD
- Intervention for DVT
- AVF and AVG formation
- Surgery and Intervention for AVF and AVG
- Varicose vein clinic
- ECMO
Academic Activities
Trainees will be able to participate in :
- Weekly Medical & Surgical conference (Friday, 7:30 am)
- Annual fall meeting of The Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery(November, 3 days)
- Postgraduate course and annual spring meeting of The Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (June, 2 days)
- Aorta updates for up-to date papaers and study design (Thursday, monthly)
- Translational research meeting with Department of Mechanical Convergence Engineering (monthly)
- The society of thoracic surgeons (STS) annual meeting (Every Jan~Feb, 3-4 days)
- American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) annual meeting (Every Apr~May, 3-4 days)
- European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) annual meeting (Every Oct, 3~4 days)
- Other vascular symposium (annually)
