Medical specialists from Severance Hospital and Yonsei Institute for Global Health visited the National Diagnostic and Treatment Center(NDTC) of Second General Hospital located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia between June 12 and June 18, 2022. The purpose of the visit was to provide medical training to Mongolian doctors and medical technicians who are working in the NDTC.

The training was conducted as a part of the contract signed between Samsung C&T and Yonsei University Health System, in which Samsung C&T participated in a consortium to establish a modern diagnostic and treatment center in Mongolia. The role of Yonsei University Health System is to provide high-quality medical training for Mongolian medical specialists by inviting them to Korea and also by visiting the NDTC. 

The 2^nd local training done in June was the last session of the total 6 training session YUHS has to conduct according to the contract. It was originally planned to be held in the year 2020, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was postponed for 2 years. The content of the 2^nd local training mainly focused on Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
