[Global Development] MOU between KOICA-Yonsei Univ. Medical College(for COVID-19 Information hub project)

Yonsei University College of Medicine signed a “COVID-19 Information Hub Project MOU” with the Korea International Cooperation Agency on July 7, 2020 to overcome the COVID-19 crisis situation and realize the goal of sustainable development. This MOU focuses on strengthening COVID-19 response capabilities in developing countries with weak health infrastructure. This is because developing countries are experiencing great difficulties due to the lack of professional health care personnel and information necessary to deal with COVID-19.


Through this MOU, the two organizations will cooperate for content such as educational videos and expert columns to be provided through the COVID-19 Information Hub website(If you want to go this website, click) provided by KOICA. In other words, by sharing Korea's experience in responding to COVID-19, it aims to enhance the COVID-19 response capabilities of developing countries. As the first process, an online consulting FAQ video has been released.


At the MOU signing ceremony, which is held on the first floor of the Yonsei University medical college, was attended by Yang-soo Jang, President of the International Development Center Kim Moon-gyu, Chairman of the Knowledge Hub TF, Jin-Yong Park, Director of the Medical Mission Center, Shin-ki Ahn, Director of the Severance Academy, Sang-cheol Yoon, Vice President of the International Development Center, Jae-shin Park, Director of KOICA Asia Headquarters, Hyeon-Kyu Cho, The knowledge data team team leader.
